Holloway at Wyndham Forest, Section 5
Located in Glen Allen, part of Henrico County, the Holloway at Wyndham Forest, Section 5 project is part of the Holloway at Wyndham Forest master development. This phase included the development of 13 single-family lots and associated site and utility improvements. These homes offer luxurious finishes in addition to easy access to shopping, entertainment, and top-ranked schools. Further amenities include play areas, walking trails, and a future clubhouse.
George Nice & Sons, Inc. was contracted by the developer, HHHunt Holloway LLC, to complete the site and utility improvements. Work included layout and staking, clearing and grubbing, erosion and sediment control, earthwork and grading, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water distribution, curb and gutter, traffic control, road stone, asphalt, seeding, and other site concrete. This project was designed by Youngblood, Tyler & Associates, PC and was scheduled for completion in December 2017.
Tract 20 Stonehouse
Spanning over 4,000 acres of wooded countryside in Toano, Virginia resides the Stonehouse subdivision. Boasting the acclaimed Stonehouse Golf Course, also a part of the Legends Course family, the community offers endless scenic beauty inclusive of hilly terrain, wooded green spaces, native plant life, rolling white fences, and impeccably maintained landscaping.
George Nice & Sons provided site development services, including underground utility installation, roadway development, and stormwater management design and installation. Early phases of the subdivision were completed with additional phases planned for future development.
Turtle Creek Subdivision
Turtle Creek is a multi-phase, 201-lot single-family subdivision nestled in the City of Newport News. This new-build community contracted George Nice and Sons, Inc. for site development, utility installation, site concrete, and asphalt paving. The subdivision is only 7 miles from Langley Air Force Base and 11 miles to Ft. Eustis.
Village Walk at New Town
Village Walk is set behind the existing Settler's Market shopping center and Trader Joe's where it straddles Settler's Market and Casey Boulevards. Settler's Market is part of the broader New Town development, much of which has already been built. George Nice & Sons, Inc. was contracted to provide construction of all infrastructure improvements.
Huntington Pointe
Located in the heart of Newport News, the HHHunt Townhomes Patrick Henry Place project boasts a myriad of amenities. In addition to being conveniently located near I-64, the Newport News-Williamsburg Airport and City Center at Oyster Point, these townhomes also offer a community pool and clubhouse.
George Nice & Sons, Inc. was contracted by the Developer, HHHunt Patrick Henry LLC, to complete the site and utility improvements on a six-acre tract of land that will be developed into 63 townhomes. The scope of work included layout and staking, clearing and grubbing, demolition, erosion control, earthwork and grading, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water distribution, curb and gutter, traffic control, road stone, asphalt paving, seeding, and other site concrete. This project was designed by Burgess & Niple and was scheduled for completion in December 2017.
