Commercial site development is similar to residential preparatory work but on an exponentially larger scale.
The increased complexity of the work demands smart planning and efficient execution to ensure that each project moves forward smoothly and efficiently, which all needs to be done before the first building foundation can be installed.
Stoppages on the initial site work can impede all following deadlines, causing headaches and cost overages. George Nice & Sons, Inc. understands that good communication and teamwork between designers and engineers will ensure that delays are minimized or eliminated. Time is money and we don’t believe in wasting either.

Yorktown Victory Center
Nestled in historic York County, The Yorktown Victory Center stands near the battlefield where allied American and French forces won the decisive battle of the American Revolution in 1781. Under the direction of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and in partnership with W.M. Jordan Company, George Nice & Sons was part of the workforce that transitioned the Victory Center into the interactive American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. George Nice & Sons was contracted to install the utility framework needed to service the water, sewer, and storm systems of the new museum site grade work as well as the construction and paving of new parking lots and the upgraded entrance.
